This may be disappointing for those who want to activate a phone on their own but the steps to activate it are rather simple. A quick call to their customer service number will mean your phone can begin working immediately.
You can also flash another phone to the Metro PCS network for a small fee. Typically you need to bring the phone into a Metro PCS store to have them do this for you. However this will mean keeping your phone and being able to enjoy unlimited calls with the Metro PCS network.
You can also activate a Metro PCS phone with call forwarding so that your phone will automatically forward calls to another number you choose.
